In most lessons, I watch how you move, strike the ball and send it into flight, which often gives us a useful place to start. If we need to explore something in more detail, particularly with an advanced player, we can add launch-monitor feedback to what we see and what you feel.

Extra feedback, when it helps.
Most of my coaching starts with what I can see in your movement, contact and ball flight. When we need a closer look, I can bring in my FlightScope X2 or Garmin Approach R10 to help us explore what’s happening.
01
Observe
I start by watching how you move, strike the ball and send it into flight.
02
Explore
When we need more detail, I use extra feedback to help answer the question.
03
Practise
We’ll talk through what to practise next, so you understand what you’re working on.
Observation comes first

FlightScope X2
When a session calls for more information about the club and ball, I can use my FlightScope X2 to help us investigate a question, compare shots or explore the effect of a change. I use those numbers alongside your strike and your experience of the shot, so the feedback stays connected to what you’re trying to do.

Garmin Approach R10
My Garmin Approach R10 is a smaller, more portable option that provides club and ball feedback, including speed and launch information, along with estimated shot results. Because some values are measured and others calculated, I consider the setup and conditions when we discuss what the numbers tell us.
What we can explore
We might use that feedback to explore a distance question, compare ball flight or look at your equipment during a fitting, depending on what you’d like to work on. I’ll choose the tool that helps us answer the question and explain what we find, with examples of launch-monitor sessions available in the videos below.

Let’s talk about your game.
Whether you’d like a lesson at Alhama Signature Golf or some help with your clubs, send me a message and tell me a little about your game. If you need a repair, include the club model and what needs attention so we can discuss the next step.
